Quintile

I focus mostly on the major aspects--for *reasons* tonight though, I was looking into all my Venus aspects--and I have Venus Quintile Pluto--1 degree orb.  Here's what Cafe Astro has to say about that:

"You appreciate art that is done with passion and feeling. You probably have friends and colleagues who have different socio-economic backgrounds because superficial differences are not important to you."

SO BANG ON, LOL--Especially with Venus in the 2nd, Pluto in the 5th--Leo/Scorpio respectively.

Astro Observations: 10:24

Looking at 7 and multiples of.
Asteroid Rocknroll is at 2 Cap, ON my natal Uranus, side note.
Also, I swear I am hearing a tropical bird.
Of note, in regards to 7:
In my chart, asteroid Leukothea, 35 conjunct natal mercury at 6 Leo in the 1st.  Leukothea, "white goddess" of the sea.  Sort of a nymph, wife of Poseidon--probably originally more like an Aphrodite I would reckon.
Asteroid 7, Iris in my chart is 14 Virgo, in the 3rd.  Transiting Jupiter is currently at 13 Virgo--opposing are asteroid Victoria--13 Pisces in the 9th in the natal chart, and transiting Neptune, 11 Pisces.  Lol, I added her in as a typo, she is actually asteroid 12--meant to do asteroid 14 to keep with the 7 theme.  Transiting Iris is currently conjunct Saturn--both conjunct my 6th house cusp.  Saturn is retrograde, so this will be an ongoing transit.  Transiting Victoria is currently in Kataka, conjunct my Ascendant, 4 degree orb, opposing Pluto, 3 degree orb.
The only other multiple of 7 is natal Jupiter, 28 Gemini in the 12th.  Numerologically I suppose I could also break down my 16 degree ascendant and descendant point to 7--and also note my 7th house activity--undergoing transformation until 2024 and beyond--actually quite apt today as there was acute conflict regarding relationship dynamics, power balance, and partnership agreement/communication--namely around the subject of SLEEP.  Perhaps I could look up sleep asteroids also?
TO BE CONTINUED--look out for PART TWO of my astro observations--SLEEP ASTEROIDS.

Jupiter in Virgo Accounting

(OG draft saved on December 29, 2015--still totally relevant)

Accounting--this word has come to encompass more to me in the past while.  I used it a few weeks ago while talking about my recent evaluation of my life--my time, my health, my diet, my activity levels, my consumption levels, what I am offering as goods and services--all of this I am in process of evaluating--all of it, a kind of accounting.
Health and wellness: I had a few good weeks of consistent daily jogging...

*time: a proposal for how I spend my work hours, and how many hours per week/day/month I ideally would like to allow myself
--include, various projects, routine projects, NOW projects and also "wildcard" one off less priority projects, rotating occasional projects, etc.

*diet and exercise--a proposal for tracking these

Saturn Chiron Merc Retro Saturn Neptune lead

(saved this as draft on Jan 13, 2016--was probably reacting to the flint atrocity)
omg

Asteroid Galactica

(Began this on February 26th, sometime in the late eve/early morning)

Inspired by Mystic Medusa, I am going give my own Asteroid Galactica a go:

Urania – the chic Muse of Astronomy & Astrology (This one I shall also prob include in a future muse post)
Asteroid 30
In my natal is 18 ARIES in my 10th--currently being pinged by URANUS--GO FIGURE.  Have been feeling somewhat of a sharp, electric intensity to my astro study...
Close to my natal Pallas, 15 Aries.

Isis – the ultimate in Egyptian Goddesses
Asteroid 42--which I find hilarious due to the Hitchhiker's Guide meaning of life answer "42"
9 Libra, in my 4th--All I've got in Libra is Lilith at 18, relatively minor, although am currently having my "Lilith Return" (it's a thing--trust me, if it wasn't before, I'm calling it--IT'S A THING)

Dionysus  – God of Wine & Unbridled Lust.
Asteroid 3671
23 Kataka (Cancer), in the 1st.  My ascendant is 16 Kataka--hmm, I do enjoy wine and lust.  Probably a good one to not have TOO close to anything though I imagine, lol.  As a kid I remember I always liked the part in Fantasia with Dionysus and the centaurs--I found the actual cartoon Dionysus to be a bit off-putting in his total drunken state though--I just wanted to be a pretty centaur.

Industria – the Goddess of Work
Asteroid 389
16 Taurus, in the 11th--so although I don't have anything major happening in Taurus--I DID notice an interesting thing that made me laugh a little (on the inside...everyone in my house being asleep.)  Industria is SEXTILE my ASCENDANT--and exactly the same distance away from my ascendant as Dionysus is ASTEROID PAN.  There might be a new meaning to "7 degrees of separation" brewing.

Sappho  – the gifted poet and so enthusiastic in her love of women that the Pope tried to burn all of her works.
Asteroid 80
0 Scorpio, in the fourth.  SQUARE my sun at 0 Leo.  Semi-sextile my 4th cusp, therefore inconjunct my MC/Midheaven.

Ishtar– the original Babylonian Love Goddess, re-framed as the Whore of Babylon in the bible.
Asteroid 7088
9 Virgo in my 3rd--exact semi-sextile to Isis, with JUNO at 18 Virgo to match the relationship with LILITH at 18 Libra.  Usually this would not be so notable, however given the interesting match up of queens of heaven with begrudgingly devoted and liberated wives?!  I find this interesting.  AND the degrees being 9 and 18--18 being also a multiple of 9.  The hermit and the moon...HM.
I have SATURN at 9 Capricorn in the 6th--I do sometimes lovingly refer to Saturn as "The Crone" due to the Cronus/Saturn association--although I know according to etymology, the words are not related.

Pan – the Wild God, forever free and never rule-bound.
Asteroid 4450
23 Taurus in the 11th--as I mentioned above, related to the asteroid Dionysus/Ascendant relationship with asteroid Industria.

Transylvania– A dark and scary but also quite camp area within your chart/psyche.
Asteroid 1537
6 Kataka in the 12th--how appropriate--right between my natal Jupiter in Gemini and Chiron--interesting due to the recent Jupiter/Chiron opposition?!  How strange--will think on this.
Also semisextile mercury at 6 Leo in the 1st.

Arachne  – The Spider Goddess, weaver AND solver of mysteries.
Asteroid 407
7 Gemini in the 11th--not much happening with this one.

Dallas – the Real Housewife of the asteroids – blow-dried, brash and an unapologetic fan of life enhancements.
Asteroid 8084
27 Virgo in the 3rd--also not much happening--although is close to my 0 Libra IC/4th house cusp?  Hm.

Hatshepsut:
– the one and only lady Pharaoh of Egypt. Big-time Empress Vibe.
Asteroid 2436--knowing her name totally helped me w/Scattergories on X-Mas 2015 fyi.
(here I paused and picked it back up March 6-7)
26 Taurus in the 11th--square Venus and Mars--hers is definitely a good interesting story to know.

Epona – the Celtic Horse Goddess, unchained and unbroken.
Asteroid 3838
I know when I think Epona I see this:

As it happens, asteroid Epona is at 19 Kataka conjunct my ascendant.  Unchained and unbroken indeed--a loyal friend to cute lads in tunics?  Definitely.

Persephone – Mrs Pluto, part-time at least. A broker of secrets and treasure with underworld connections.
Asteroid 399
2 Gemini, in the 11th--keeping in mind, Mystic also considers Eris to be more of a Persephone and I happen to agree--the only connection I notice here is that I have also inserted Pandora into my chart at the moment--which is at 2 Libra in the 4th--an exact trine.  Not usually astrologically notable--however sometimes I liken this kind of happening to an oracle reading--the synchronicity of the moment might be the notable thing here, not necessarily notable in a reoccurring chart look-up.

Lust – For Money, Sex, Land, Respect or Your Abs Back – Undiluted Life Force.
Asteroid 4386
14 Gemini, conjunct the 12th cusp by less than one degree--lol.

Ubasti/Bast – the Cat Goddess, sleek, feline and inscrutable as fuq.
Asteroid 4257
20 Pisces, in the 9th.  I have looked this one up before, and always feel like maybe I should question this whole astrology thing due to the fact that it isn't smack ON anything, what with my devotion-like fascination for cats, Egypt, and the underworld.  It is trine my ascendant with an orb of a bit more than 3 degrees, I suppose that counts for something.  Perhaps my Leo stellium is just leading me to BECOMING my own kind of Cat Goddess?  That's probably it, yeah?

Pandora – the All Gifted One, misunderstood genius.
Asteroid 55
2 Libra, conjunct my IC, as I mentioned above.

Theodora – Resourceful and wily, she was a Byzantine Whore turned Empress.
Asteroid 440
0 Sag in the 5th, conjunct my vertex and involved in a snazzy grand fire trine with my Aries moon/MC hey-ey...now THAT is something interesting.

Clio – the Muse of History – someone has to keep score.
Asteroid 84
4 Gemini in the 11th--I never was great in History class...I tended to fell asleep...a lot.

Nike – not a shoe but the Goddess of Victory and patroness to female stoics and charioteers.
Asteroid 307
1 Kataka, conjunct 28 Gemini Jupiter in the 12th--hey, cool!  Opposing Uranus at 2 Cap in the 6th...hmmmm.

Magdalena – The Pagan who loved Jesus Christ.
Asteroid 318
2 Aries, conjunct the MC and moon--ALSO involved in the grand fire trine--with and interesting theme forming?!

Prometheus – Fire from the Gods to upgrade humanity? No problems, consider it stolen. Like a super-heated Mars-Uranus Vibe.
Asteroid 1809
6 Sag in the 5th, trine mercury in the 1st, go figure.

Scheherazade – Eloquence & Seduction under awkward or even challenging circumstances, the embodiment of grace.
Asteroid 643
19 Leo in the 2nd, conjunct mars--I absolutely loved the book when I was between say 11-13--my family made a VHS recording of the mini-series when it aired--I watched it over and over--AND I also love the Rimsky-Korsakov violin solo--AND Michelle Kwan's 2002 National's to said Rimsky-Korsakov piece.

Geisha – Immaculate grooming, adherence to etiquette and conversation skills that conceal raw ambition.
Asteroid 1047
25 Leo in the 2nd--and for tonight's biggest WTF moment, here is asteroid Geisha, to the degree, on my South Node--PARTICULARLY interesting considering how mystic rolled out this consult at the same time she rolled out her "Karmic Snap" possible past-life report via examining the South Node.  My south node, and now asteroid Geisha, also have Mars on the left, Venus to the right conjunct.  I don't know much more about the Geisha than the kind of shallow information one might read in National Geographic or something, so don't have much to say.  Will let you know if I have any flashbacks involving tea ceremonies though.

The Pride of a Leo Mom

Last night, my son grabbed his crayons, and started drawing on his pad of paper--honestly I don't know if he has even ever done this without us prompting him before?  In any case, I had never seen him so focused on what he was doing--like he was planning out every line and color--and holy crow I was like, "my son is an artistic genius!  This is beautiful work!"  And obvs it is a thing--parents tend to show pride in their children--do Leo parents take it to another level though, lol?  Is that a thing?  I would image it is.  There is a reason why a family group of lions is called a pride, after all.

Full Moon In Virgo: A List of Things to Do

1. Research: Prime topics include health and wellness, with an emphasis on nutrition, exercise, hormonal well-being, posture, and the digestive system.
2. Make Lists: If it can be thought, it can be a list.
3. Study Grammar: Brush up on the basics at least.
4. When Irritated, Zen: Take pleasure in remaining poised and having an arsenal of practical, calm replies to any nonsense fuqery.
5. Clean and Organize: Bonus points for kitchens, closets, and bathrooms.
6. Bake Something: Make up the recipe if you can--ideally including some superfood, omega rich ingredients, vegan, nourishing, and yet genuinely delicious.  Make it good enough to be a holy sacrament.  Bonus if the dough doubles as a skin mask for your hands while working it.  Speaking of...
7. Prioritize Skin Care: Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate.  I also recently got into applying my used jasmine tea bags to my skin...
8. Resist Addictive Tendencies: Of any kind. Is there a cleaning product for this?  Maybe invent one.

What did YOU do this Virgo Full Moon?

Moon Child: Nelly Furtado

"I live my life by the moon (by the moon) If it's high play it low, if it's harvest go slow and if it's full, then go."

"Turn Off The Lights" (Colin Parker Remix)

Moon Child: Matthew McConaughey

"If you want your hair to be thicker, cut it when the moon is about to be full—a heavy, full, waxing moon. Do not cut it when the moon's waning. Right now, it's 14 percent waxing on, it's a crescent, so you don't want to cut now. In about 10 days, the moon's going to be 94 percent full—that's a great time." For real? "Damn right. Why do you think that [farmers] plant at certain times of the year? It's not hippie-dippie stuff. Look, how do they know when you reap, when you sow, when you plant?"

When the Moon is in...LEO

Things to do when the moon is (void) in Leo:
*give your hair loving attention.  (although do avoid trying new products during this time)  Brush your hair with a nice bamboo hairbrush.  Clean your hairbrush, especially if it is a waning moon, and toss your hair outside for a bird to use in the nest.  Condition your hair with herbals, vinegar, oils, sunshine--season permitting--moonshine, etc.
*Masturbate thinking only of yourself.
*Basically, anything appropriately pleasurable.
*Eat a meal you really appreciate.  Express your gratitude vocally--with words, sighs, moans, etc.
*Make meditative art.  Try to incorporate glitter/color/fun.
*Listen to dance music and dance while admiring yourself in mirrors

I could go on.  Thoughts?

Coming Soon: expanding this series on moon phases/signs.

Virgo Jupiter Moon

Feeling very effective/efficient and also more lively in my approach to work.  (Pluto cap).  Idea about signs next door motivating each other to "complete the task/carry out the task"   Or say each leading to one another.

Pisces/Virgo

It's okay to touch things with your feet that are not okay to touch with your hands
